Trafic pedal rubbers tip

Post by richardstubbs on Wed May 04, 2016 9:15 pm

So I noticed that the brake and clutch pedal rubbers were both completely worn out. Apart from the safety issue it's now an MoT failure. The Mk1 Trafic has odd tiny rectangular pedals, unlike any other Renault, and of course they're unobtainable. So after a lot of searching and measuring I found these:

British Leyland (Austin) part number AHA5326, for the Austin Healey Sprite etc. Got them today and they're a perfect fit. Tight to get on but that's good. And two for less than four quid. Remains to be seen how long they last but they're better than worn out ones.

Just posting this in case it helps anyone else - Frank you can put it on your site if you like.

Richard.

Thanks Richard, that's very useful to know up!
I don't run the site anymore, in fact I resigned all my positions in the RTMR so I'm just an ordinary member now.

I'll cut and paste your post if that's OK and send it to the Tech officer and webmaster.

Thanks again!
