Leak from Talisman basin tap

Post by Munroman on Mon May 02, 2016 9:45 pm

Hi, I heard a hissing noise coming from behind my fold up sink unit on my 1989 Talisman.
When I stripped the sink out I found a hole in the strange looking reducing piece which joins the tap to the garden hose sized hot water pipe.
I tried to patch the hole without success, and was wondering if anyone could advise where I could get a replacement or suitable substitute?

All ideas welcome!

Comet Novo Mixer Taps

Post by CarryOnCamping on Sat Jul 16, 2016 11:45 am

Its probably the same tap as my 1992 Talisman and I had similar problems. I got an identical replacement comet novo mixer for £28.99 on eBay. Being a pressurised sytem I just cut off the micro switch tails. It came with the hose tails fitted. So far no leaks. Heres a trader offering the same taps a bit cheaper.
