Hi , the exterior mirror on the drivers side is loose and folds in when driving - can anyone tell us how to tighten it - no obvious screws

Hi Bob & Joy.

On mine you have to gently prise off the black plastic cover at the back of the mirror, a wide bladed screwdriver works., once its off you get access to a bolt which can be tightened.

If it is the mirror arm that folds in as opposed to the mirror, there are circular covers on the bottom of the arms, pop those off and again you get access to tighten.

Hi, thanks for info, we were frightened to try popping off anything but we will do it now - it's the arm that is loose

Just been and looked at mine and there is a small indent in the plastic to help you.

There is in mine too, where I keep smashing my head into it when I've been looking at the tyres. scratch head

Tip: Fold mirrors in when checking tyre pressures. allthumbz

Hi, just coming back from a good trip to Rutland Water(saw the Osprey catching fish) when my off-side mirror kept folding in to door. Now home and easily fixed as replies, pop off bottom plastic cap and tightened nut.

Sorry off topic; we were there two weeks ago and Osprey was still sitting on eggs.
