Exhausted

Post by Firms on Tue Mar 15, 2016 12:03 pm

So on our first trip out for the year the exhaust decides to give up the ghost.

i's a '97 Legend on a Ford transit LWB base. Decide to get the entire system replaced due to the age. Issue then comes with ordering correct parts. Using the registration number to order parts resulted in wrong bits arriving and subsequent bits that have been sent are also incorrect.
Hopefully correct bits will arrive tomorrow...

just wondering if anyone had a similar issue before and how it was resolved..

oh and when you get it the end finishes under the van and you either need an extension piece welding on or an exhaust deflector fitting to direct the exhaust down.      they should have ordered a Ford LYC 150 long wheelbase  .But you still need the end altering,I've just got the  chrome deflector on the end of my syster.
