We arrived at the C&CC site in Salisbury late yesterday afternoon. Had a quick look around the site to see if any other AS's were here and could see at least half a dozen. I thought I'd wait until this morning before walking round and seeing if anyone was coming out to play (have a natter) but before we even got up, a Trooper I had spotted had already gone, then I saw an Executive leaving, a fellow Symphony went, a Montana went and a Gatcombe followed. Apart from us there still remained a Sussex Duo, a Ravenna and a Talisman GX. All occupants must have been early starters as no-one at home in any this morning. We walked into Salisbury and on our return there has been new arrivals in the form of a Stratford, and another Executive. I'll have to get out and about with my calling cards before 'something I said' sends them all off again.
Before Salisbury we stayed 2 nights at Wolverley were there was only 2 other AS's, one a Nuevo who only stopped 1 night and an Executive (I think) on a Talbot. Never got chance to speak to either .

rofl3 That's the way it is sometimes, often think I will leave a card in the morning then curse when they have left or you see them leave, if I'm feeling brave (not very often) I approach them and tap on the window angelic

Also, it never ceases to amaze me whenever we leave cards under wipers more often or not they are still there the next day! either they haven't spotted them or they are too scared to take them off the screen and look at them undecided hugegrins

Hi CC,

If I get the chance I go for the personal approach and explain the advantages of joining.

However, I walked up to a Symbol a few weeks ago and I thought the chap had seen me approaching, but when I spoke to him through the open drivers window he nearly dropped his laptop. I don't suppose he has joined. snigger

Well I managed to leave a few calling cards before leaving Salisbury site this morning. Managed to speak to a Talisman GX owner but was surprised by his dismissive attitude. Nice enough chap, member of ASOC, did lots of rallies with them (going on to one this weekend at Milford-on-sea) but when I asked if he was a member of ASOF his response was ' heard of it, seen it, know nothing about it, don't bother with it' so I left it at that.
Now at Chichester C&CC site. What a lovely little site this is, only 58 pitches all with hook-up which you pay for whether you want it or not. Apple trees throughout the site, all heaving with fruit, toilet block immaculate. Anyway on site there is a Trident, a Harmony on a Talbot, a Nuevo and 2 Clubman GL's. I thought the Symphony was AS's most popular model but I am beginning to think it must be the Clubman as I seem to see more of these than any others. Here for 2 nights.
