Tyre pressures Symbol/Broken Lift gear knob

Post by donharris on Thu Jan 21, 2016 8:43 pm

Any ideas of front/back tyre pressures for Peugeot Boxer Symbol '02 please?
Book tells you to keep tyres at correct pressure(!), but no info on van door pillar as the book suggests.

Also, best place, other than Ebay (Bulgaria) for the lift reverse gear stick knob which has shattered inside.
Thanks

Hi,
In my Peugeot handbook for my symbol boxer (Year 2000, 2L Petrol), it states...

BARS (LBF. IN.2)

270 C/CS  FRONT 3.0 (44)  REAR 3.0 (44)
310C/CS, 320M , 320MH, 320 LH, FRONT 4.1 (59)  REAR 4.5 (65)
350 MH/MHS,350 LH/LHS, FRONT 4.5 (65) REAR 4.5 (65)

Spares in same order 3.2 (46) 4.7 (68) 4.7 (68)
Hope this helps

Hi, theres been quite a few posts on this, to get accurate pressures you really need to get the van on a weighbridge preferably one giving weights for front and rear axles seperately then check the type of tyres fitted.

I meant to add that tyre pressures in the Peugeot handbook will be for a fully loaded commercial van before Autosleeper work their magic. Too high a pressure may give a harsh ride.
