Cold air from Carver Fan master.

Post by wakaday on Tue Jan 05, 2016 9:57 am

I've done my Homework on this and I'm pretty sure it's a case of hitting the reset button but........

I haven't delved into it yet. Is there an access panel in the Clubman or is it case of the whole unit coming out to get to the rear?

If it's mounted in front/under wardrobe, can you remove the wardrobe floor to get at it?

Morning!

Access to the rear of the Carver Fanmaster fitted to the Clubman is through the bottom of the wardrobe. The furthest panel (as you're standing gazing wistfully into the wardrobe) should just pull out, but the job is much easier if you unscrew and remove the nearer panel as well. Whilst you're in there, check that the mains feed cable is still plugged in to the back of the heater- I find that mine comes out occasionally. A torch and mirror might come in handy.

Cheers guys.
Really easy. Inspection panel that pivots out of the way. Quick press of the reset Button and heat restored.
Just taken the lower wardrobe shelf out to reveal it in all its glory. Going in with a Dyson and an air line to give it a good clean out.
