Nice.
Does it have Power Steering?
I managed to source A Rack for my old Talbot. Made it so much nicer to Park.

..no she doesn't have power steering... yet..but i'm definately going to have it fitted.

We aren't far from the company in Stratford that does this. Fine when you're moving but yes they weigh a ton when you're trying to park!  smile!

Thanks for kind comments!

I must admit I did everything wrong when I bought her....looked at her first in dark when it was raining! Didn't really go over her with a fine tooth comb....Etc etc...however she felt right. We did look at two beforehand and although they were the facelift model with lower mileage they weren't as nice. Engines were very rough on them and bodywork not great. Gear change on both was dreadful. On ours the gear change is very good...not sure if she's maybe had the upgrade that sorts this out already fitted?

I've had a mechanic we know change HT leads on her and he said how tidy she was. Then had a caravan engineer sort fridge out as it wasn't Igniting properly and he commented on how spacious this model is and how she'd been looked after. He also did a habitation check.

Obviously a vehicle of this age is going to need a few things sorting but I'm surprised how solid these are. Takes a bit of getting used to driving mind! But I absolutely love her...I actually prefer the older styling too.

....next on list is power steering conversion....as my wife will be sharing the driving with me!

Looks to be in great nick. I like that they didn't cover it in silly pinstripes like my clubman. It's taking forever to remove them all.

Sourcing a Power rack isnt easy i dont think they are available new any more. You also need the lower steering coupling as well.
There is a company in Bolton who offer an electric version. i think they are called easy steer.
