Hello All,

Wife and I have just joined the ranks of Autosleeper owners after many years as owners of larger motorhomes while our children travelled with us, so we are "empty nesters". We've had twenty plus years of travelling, covering much of Western Europe, and gave up the life to concentrate on other hobbies until our younger daughter moved away and we needed a motorhome for occasional visits. We searched long and hard and, after many disappointments and seeing loads that weren't up to our standards, we found an Excelsior which is great and covers all our needs.

Thank you for the welcome, Daisy Mae.
Leicestershire is to be our destination as Oadby is where our daughter is living, so you'll see us either on the A14 or the A47!

You weren`t on the Reasby bypass A6007 by any chance yesterday? as one passed me going towards Melton Mowbray, I was going the opposite way, and we exchanged waves. allthumbz ,

Not me Daisy Mae, wrapped up warm at home at present. We'll be over that way mid November for our maiden run in this MH. Last year we used Hilltop Caravan site at Thrusingham but we'll most likely wild camp next time which will tell us if we're well enough insulated. I'll start a new topic to ask what others think of winter camping off grid.
