Fridge running on gas

Post by pablo on Thu Sep 10, 2015 7:19 pm

I'm on a lovely campsite in Long Mynd on hook up but thought I would try running fridge on gas just to check it is still working. It clicked to come on and now there is an orange glow from the little light. Does that mean it is working ok or does it mean it has failed to ignite so not working? Fridge is Dometic.thank you.

Its working. You can always go outside and feel the heat from the flue through the vents.

Don't you ever say good morning to your neighbours?

Ah, we'd already had a chat, but not made the AS Forum connection. Had a good laugh this morning about it.

Hi, both left now, but Small Batch site at Little Stretton, run by Pam & Oscar Prince. I try to get there once a month, it's my favourite place for me and my little Springer, we can walk for miles right from the site.

FRIDGE RUNNING ON GAS

Post by brian knibbs on Mon Feb 01, 2016 11:02 pm

Rose---nice one,   my pet  dislike these days, folk rarely smile and say "How do "  or ask where have you been/going ?   All this headlight flashing , waveing . nodding.   On site they hardly speak,  well only to the i pad or someone miles away.   I may be grey and old, but please smile and say " how do " I wont bore ya chatting  unless you start,it !!     Nuevo, 11   Brian K.      wave

I like to wave and smile, but don't get many responses. I sometimes think it's because I'm in a Duetto, which looks like 'white van man' until I am passing :)

me too but I'm in a hi top LWB Transit with "camping" stripes on the side and back only so probably look more white van man than you. I used to get lots of waves in the VW and the odd one in the Smart. The problem is I will still wave when in my partner's Clio.
