Weekend in Shropsire

Post by Paulwest55 on Tue Sep 08, 2015 9:24 pm

A great family weekend in Shropshire. We stayed at the lovely Old School House, caravan site, Shelve, Shropshire : http://www.oldschoolcaravanpark.co.uk/index.htm
The owners were very helpful and welcoming, our Ford Transit Autosleeper Duetto, (Dougal)  Was great, and for this weekend our daughter and family were using the our Eriba, they loved it, we had the site to ourselves apart from a couple who arrived shortly after we did In a VW t25 campervan, all the other caravans on site were seasonal and empty for this weekend. The views of Cordon hill were beautiful, and the walks in and around this area are great, well worth a visit and certainly one we will be revisiting, though we would say that, both myself and my wife were born in Shropshire and both have family living in the area, it is though without a doubt one of the most beautiful country sides to be seen.

Hi Margret, yes I must agree Anglesey is beautiful too, some wonderful little bays etc... We moved here some 13 years ago and still enjoy touring around the island finding little Jems.

Cheers,

Have you any little Jems you would like to share with us ? We have toured the mainland coast of Wales and loved every minute, we are looking to tour Anglesey, the Lleyn peninsula and down to Barmouth, next spring.
I look forward to your to your recommendations.
