Leisure Batteries Replacements Empty Leisure Batteries Replacements

Post by Leejd Mon Sep 07, 2015 5:21 pm

Hello fellow Vw Trooper  Auto sleepers owners.
We bought our vehicle 5 years ago and have had some great trips abroad and u.k. in our retirement so far.
Now we are trying to renew the original 2005 leisure battery before our next trip.
"Phoenix" 067 size L270 W180 H180 .are the details , on the battery which we use for the fridge.

Please can anyone help as so far the Terminals + and -  are at the back of our battery and the new ones all seem to be in the front from what we can see on the internet. Our current leads wouldn't reach.

I suggest you visit a caravan dealer or Halfords to obtain a suitable replacement battery that fits.

The 067 would appear to be a car battery not a leisure battery. Check out Tayna batteries website where you will find dimensions and terminal layout to suit. They give excellent customer service and deliver nationwide.
