Clubman pump

Post by algy on Thu Jul 23, 2015 7:24 pm

Can anyone explain how I get to the water pump on our Clubman,I know its under the sink unit but is there an easy way to access it I don't want to damage anything. The hot water is constantly spluttering and over time getting worse. If its the water heater hot outlet again is there an easy way to see the outlet pipe..cheers...Algy

Its a few years since I've been at one on a Clubman but I thought it was under the OS bench seat near the charger and leisure battery.

Thanks Peter, but on our Clubman both batteries are under the bonnet the noise from the  pump sounds to be coming from under the sink unit.

On my Clubman I had to replace the pump it was located under the sink behind a panel at the back of the lowest part of the locker, about 8 screws I think then pull forward.

Thanks Baz,I have found it now,the problem is the clear stainer that fits onto the inlet side of the pump, its broken ans I know now the hissing is a leak.So I need  a new clear strainer housing but not sure I can find one.
