The title says it all really.  Six years ago I started building my own motorhome and had all the services, sink, cooker etc. in place and have even spent some nights in it.  My son and I then bought a house and renovated it so the van became used for carrying all the materials.  I now realise that as, not unexpectedly it failed it's MoT for the third year running today, that project has had it's day so I'm on the lookout for a monocoque van.  Looked at a few already but want to see some more to get a feel for the market.

Welcome to the forum! Its packed with useful information- if you scroll through the 'monocoque' section you'll find loads of good stuff and things to look out for when buying. Autosleepers are brilliantly designed, well built, and hold their price well (as you're probably about to find out!), and I reckon that the monocoques are the best of them all. Happy hunting!

Hi and welcome.

Like yourself I am new to this caper and it took a year to decide finally that its for us. Me and the Wife that is.

In that time I studied form and prices. We looked at quite a few options and in the end bought something completely different from what we at first thought we would end up with.
The machine as well as fitting you and yours needs to fit what you are intending and where you are intending to use it.

Our plan is extensive European so I wanted something reasonable to drive as well as give us what we wanted.

We bought this.
