Recommended Campsites

Post by tankie747 on Wed Sep 28, 2011 7:54 pm

Hi everyone, wave

Just wanted to let you all know that Haven touring and caravan sites are offering camping and touring pitches cheaply from now and in October at various sites. We have booked online for this coming weekend for 2 nights, with EHU and Awning and paid £12 at the Blue Dolphin Park, Filey. Entertainment passes are included. Other sites are on offer too, depending on the area.

Not sure about the park itself but for that price I can't complain. The weather is going to be fantastic and we will be out and about and have a good time. The area there is gorgeous anyway and having nice weather is a real bonus. I can't wait now. smile!

Where is everybody going this weekend? smile!

Hi Tankie

Thanks for the recommendation up! That is a good price especially with the entertainment pass, hope the weather stays nice for you!
Don't think we will be going away any more this season, as we hope to sell our Trident soon and are worried about putting extra miles on the clock before we sell her

Stevo, I work semi nights most time and I am going to play in wonderful Filey this weekend. Got the beer in the fridge and the Missus is doing some last minute shopping tomorrow. I shall not think about work all weekend. Lol. smile!

CruizingComet, why are you selling? Are you getting another AS?

Wouldn't consider anything else tankie, won't catch me going over to the darkside like others hugegrins
Only selling because we need more space to spread out, and also for an onboard toilet and shower.
Absolutely detest using onsite toilets and showers!

Park Resorts also doing similar offers so a good choice of sites around the country (just not where we want to go, as we are off next week) from as little as £5 per night.

Hi Tankie747,

Thanks for that, have used Havens before, at Cleethorpes (very good).

We had Static Caravans (Hanging my head in shame hugegrins ) for a large Family get-together.

Enjoy your 'nightshift' , you as well Stevo lol4 , and don't think that about me.
