CS just north of Pickering

Post by Jaytee on Sat Apr 18, 2015 10:25 am

Found this lovely site just a mile North of Pickering. Tried several as a last minute weekend away and they were all fully booked. Then found this one which was empty. Why I asked the owner? 'because we don't have electric' was the reply.

How very very sad that 'most' people now MUST have electric. Are we that different? We don't often have EHU, we cook all meals, use the oven, the shower, the telly and even had the heating on all last night and we survived  hugegrins

Glorious weather, lovely views and only a 20 min walk into pickering. Highly recommended  up!

Vale View C&CC site.

Thanks Boaby up! as we couldn't make Peterborough I was determined to go somewhere and local is good now and again. Plus, the money I saved on fuel etc I will spend in some gadgets hugegrins. The flexi solar panel may be the one scratch head

I've given up on the shows, Maisie my wee Border terrier isn't a great fan of fire works, plus I have a garage full of water carriers, hose pipes, hook up cables etc .
Sat in the van overlooking the beach, lots of wind surfers running up and down the beach.
Managed without solar panels on this van so far, could be tempted later on when the deals are on the go.
