Omnistor awning - missing end cap

Post by meanchris on Thu Apr 16, 2015 1:46 pm

As above, the front end cap for our 1995 vintage Omnistor awning is missing.

What are the chances of finding one?

Thanks.

I think they are pretty standard - get in touch with Omnistor or a UK dealer/fitter.
Try: http://www.omnistorawnings.co.uk/department/5000/ which shows spares - end cover for one is about £25!

Thanks Ron, I'd read elsewhere that the end caps are no longer available, ISTR the phrase contained the words 'rocking horse....'

Looking at ours, it appears to be a 5000 model, though only 3m.

I'll give them a call and see whether the one listed on the site will fit.  up!

Hi Alexa, I think this might be the right one, at least for our 5000 series.

https://hillviewawnings.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=68_81_83&product_id=322

I haven't bought one yet though as we've been busy with replacing our cab carpet.
I'm going to order one in time for our next France trip though  smile!
