Is this an Autosleeper?

Post by Paulmold on Fri Oct 31, 2014 2:01 pm

Don't know if the term 'Autosleeper' is being used in the generic form or whether genuine (decals say Autosleeper Leisure Executive). I've not seen one before but looks good for its age.

I would say so, it looks to me like the original Executive and the interior looks AutoSleeper.   I have seen a couple of these over the years think one guy is in the Classic Camper Club
It was 1st registered 1/4/1985 and has a petrol engine. This example seems to have done the "Classic" shows and looks in good condition from photos on the internet do a search on the reg no

Hi,
According to the brochure currently on E-Bay its an 'AS Leisure Executive',
and there's more information in the description.
If you type in the E-Bay search box for 'Auto-Sleeper brochures' all sorts of interesting stuff comes up.
I've found it quite a good hunting ground for AS publicity/brochures stuff !
up!

NO . Wow. No wonder some people have trouble getting spares. hugegrins
That's 2 new models every year for 50 years. Are they still trying to find the best model do you think?
What about numbers per model?
I can see why the prices are high.

I don't know how many models of each, but they made around 300 of my Harmony's between mid 90's and 2003.

Newterry ,,,, there is a comprehensive list of models on this site in Fact sheets. I do occasionally update it as I am sure Baz does his list

Hi Roger
There's around 100 models on Baz's list on the link above, the most bizarre is a 'GMC' on a Chevrolet base !

Terry
ps. I'm really keen to make a donation, can you let me know how as the usual page doesn't seem to be open ?
