Our favourite site (sorry don`t use aires) is at Pont de Larche, just south of Rouen just south of the river. It does have an aire outside so.........   Good food in village adjacent

Traffic in Rouen was a nightmare last year as the main river bridge was closed and it is not planned to be open again till August this year. I love Rouen but it might be better to wait till normality returns.

Nevergiveup
Your Pont DeLarche site sounds useful
Obviously not an ACSI site but could you give me name and if possible co-ordinates

Here we are Backtrax. Its a Municipal site on the south bank of the Seine/ Eure, ideal if going down to the south on the A/N154

We stayed at the site in Pont-de-l'Arche a couple of years back and liked it. It's a fairly basic no-frills site in a very pretty location right by the river with a superb view up to the medieval church. There were some aire spaces and a borne just outside the entrance There are some lovely walks around the village and along the river and some lovely little artisan shops. It's one of those French villages where time seems to have stood still.

The above site at Jumieges was excellent a few years ago and a visit to the Abbey in the village is a must. There is also an aire in Jumieges as there is in a lot of locations along the banks of the Seine in that area. Last year we used this one to overnight:
