I am interested in the Milenco  Aluminium  double step with the rubber tops, has anyone got one and what are the fors and against please.?

The Milenco giant plastic step, was the one I really wanted but it was too high for the door on my Clubman.

Thank you
Margaret

Hi there,

Just watched the video on:

http://www.milenco.com/products/steps/aluminium-rubber-top-double-step/

Light weight, stable, robust and non-slip.  If you have the room to store it and the money to buy it I would recommend it.

My late Aunty May broke her leg when the step keeled over as she was stepping out of a caravan in Wales.  She was in her early eighties when it happened and never went camping again!

Hope this helps.  allthumbz

Best regards,

Thank you Ian, I would feel safer with a double step, as the plastic step I have is good, it is the distance between the steps getting in and out especially with carrying stuff, especially since my accident, I am wary of doing anymore damage.

Ideally I would like to see one in the flesh so to speak, I did order the Milenco giant double plastic step , it was really good, fitted nicely up to the step on the van, then couldn`t close the door.  oh_blast!

Regards

Margaret

Hi Thanks for that, but I didn`t want one with the four feet/legs as they sink in the ground, from past experience, good price though.
Regards,
Margaret

Hi

I see on that Aldi Caravan Step it is 62.5cm high I think that must be the width.   hugegrins

I have a Milenco Aluminium Step here (unused) and they are very light and due to the design as you say wont dig into the ground. Available for sale at £15. We will be at the ASOC Newark Rally if you are in ASOC and going could be brought there.

My friend bought one the other day. We were doubtful about a step 2ft high as well!! It's not the width either, it's just normal step width. It's a nice step, well worth £14.99 and has black rubber treads which my more expensive one doesn't.
