E-co Electric bike offer Empty Re: E-co Electric bike offer

Hi there,

At 20Kg weight the average bike rack will take at least one but may be struggling with two.

On the other hand, with one folded up inside they would give a lot of flexibility to the less fit amongst us.  (i.e. "Me"!)

Agree that it is amazingly cheap but I have seen quite a large number of "hub" motors on the road so maybe increased production is dropping the price.

Best regards,

I once managed to catch up with one (but not overtake it) on my pedal cycle so does that count? wave

Some of them look like ordinary bikes and they can really shift!  tap_fingers  tap_fingers

E-co Electric bike offer Empty Re: E-co Electric bike offer

We had a couple of the AS bikes with 20" wheels and fold up style, for a number of years and found them very good. Used to take 2 bikes on the back of our Symbol on a fiamma carry bike rack with out any trouble at all. Weight wise, if you can remove the batteries on the E-co bikes before loading onto the bike rack, it saves about 6 kgs all up!

Have to say that just over a year ago, we have moved up to 2 Pro-mobility bikes with 26" wheels and more powerful 36v battery. They are a more comfortable riding position (Dutch style) and will cover about 35 miles on battery assist mode. but lack the compactness of a fold up bike. However we can still put both bikes onto our towbar mounted bike rack.
Electric bikes are great for up hill work, as they do take all the effort out of the struggle.  hugegrins
