Wells Holiday Park, Somerset

Post by johnandeva on Mon Mar 17, 2014 12:01 pm

Hi everyone, came back yesterday from the above camp, highly recommended, nicely set out site, best shower block and toilets yet, we paid £15 per night, great views of the mendips,  bus stop outside gate for Wells and Weston, you can get buses at wells for Bath and other towns around, Wells has a beautiful cathedral and independent shops, market on a Friday, all for now johnandeva,  allthumbz

We stayed at this site for three nights this week and completely agree with the above comments. This is without doubt one of the cleanest and best kept sites we have ever stayed on. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, we will definately return.

We like Wells, so must make a note of this site for future.

You can walk in to Wells on the A371, 1.5 miles away. But the good thing is that the site owners will give you a couple of takeaway menus for places that will deliver. The chippie will deliver to your pitch, how cool is that, and the Indian will deliver to the site entrance. We had a pizza from the chippie, very nice too.
